“Some Actress Think It’s Their Power that They have money” – Actor Sisi Quadri shades Jaiye Kuti for slamming veterans who beg money online (Video)

Nollywood actor, Quadri Oyebamiji Tolani better known as Sisi Quadri, has shaded his colleague, Jaiye Kuti for slamming actors who beg for money online, Praizemedia report.

Pm reported that Jaiye Kuti otherwise known as Jayeola Monje, had addressed the heavy backlash she received for lambasting her senior colleagues begging fans for money.

For some weeks, veterans like Iya Gbonkan, Lalude, Pariolodo, and Alapinni all came out to seek help from Nigerians over their deteriorating financial status.

Though many Nigerians came to their aid, Actress, Jaiye Kuti felt their behavior was deceitful and slammed them for becoming online beggars.

The movie star decried the alarming rate at which their cry for help is damaging the image of the Yoruba movie industry.

Jaiye Kuti noted that many of them did not plan for their future. Instead, they spent their youthful earnings on shortlived pleasures.

Though Jaiye Kuti has clarified her statement and has made it clear she isn’t against actors seeking help, Sisi Quadri has slammed her for her statement.

Sisi Quadri slams Jaiye Kuti

In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Sisi Quadri tackled Jaiye for saying many veterans didn’t plan for their future else why they are begging.

He avowed that it’s God who makes one prosper and if things are going smoothly, it is God’s doing.

The Yoruba actor noted how many work hard yet don’t have money in their account.

He stated that he isn’t against any actor seeking help.

Someone came to the social media to say some people are begging because they didn’t plan for their future. That is a lie. It is God that makes one prosper. If things are going smoothly for your it is not your power. Some actors work hard and still don’t have N2000 in their accounts. I am not against anyone seeking help”.
