Nollywood actress, Faithia Williams has sweetly celebrated her estranged husband and father of her kids, Saidi Balogun on his birthday today.
The former power couple, both turn a new age today and have taken to social media to celebrate their new age. In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, Saidi described the past year as a roller coaster with highs and lows, curves and bends. However, his engine keeps moving and never topples.
The Yoruba actor stated that he was not just celebrating his birthday today, but was celebrating all Aquarius worldwide, most especially February born and those who share the same date with him.
“All those who are born in February hands up
Life has been a roller coaster with highs and lows, curves, and bends. But the engine keeps moving, it never topples. Ground solid, no sinking. Dogs barking, sometimes biting, it never penetrates but breaks their teeth. Why, because I dwell under the shadow of Almighty Allah S.W.T, the author of my destiny.
Another year added, I celebrate with all Aquarius worldwide, All February born especially February 5. Happy birthday to us!”.
Taking to his comment section, his estranged wife, Faithia Williams wished him a happy birthday writing, “Happy birthday B”.
Faithia took to her Instagram page to share a clip of her dancing, as she stated that she is embracing a year of growth, laughter, and more. She cheered on to more years of celebrating life’s beautiful journey.
“Embracing another year of growth, laughter, and cherished moments. Here’s to celebrating life’s beautiful journey on my special day”.
This isn’t surprising as last year, Faithia had showered love on him and this had won her praise from netizens.
Faithia took to his comment section to drop a birthday message for him. Using their kid’s name to refer to him, she sent her birthday wishes to him, as well as, said a word of prayer for him.
A fan, who was left in awe of her maturity and love for the father of her kids, praised her.
Fathia and Saheed were married for six years. They got married on September 7, 2000, at the Ikorodu Marriage Registry, Lagos, and parted ways in 2016.
In November 2017, Fathia reverted to her maiden name “Williams” after their divorce was finalized.
The union produced two children.
Though their divorce hasn’t smooth sailing, the estranged couple seem to have put their differences aside for the sake of their kids.
The light-skinned movie star featured Saidi in her movie, Aje Oja some years back. That was the first time, the couple would be featured in the same movie in 14 years.
