Sunkanmi, prolific actor and son of veteran actor, Sunday Omoblanle, has revealed how his step mum, Peju Ogunmola, prevailed on his father to let him pursue his passion in the movie industry instead of becoming a Soldier.
Speaking recently on BON BOX Office on WFM 97.1, Sunkanmi stated that as a kid his father had wanted him to be in the military.
To achieve this, he had attended the Nigerian Military School in Zaria, Kaduna State. This was before proceeding to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.But thanks to Peju, his step mum, who intervened and convinced his father, who was initially hesitant, to allow him pursue a career in acting.
The light skinned actor, who recently debuted as a producer, has disclosed September as the month for the release of his feature film, Speaking further on BON BOX Office, Sunkanmi also described his wife of over eleven years, Abimbola, as the best thing that has happened to him.
