recall that A video has surfaced online featuring veteran Nollywood actor Adewale Alebiosu making accusations against some of his colleagues in the industry, including Jaiye Kuti and Odunlade Adekola, claiming that they have taken advantage of him.
During an interview, Adewale Alebiosu, well-known for his role as a native doctor in movies, shared his unfortunate experience. He revealed that he was once paid a meager sum of 3,000 naira for appearing in 11 scenes in a movie.
In the emotionally charged video, the actor expressed his deep disappointment upon receiving such an absurdly low amount for his hard work and dedication, having appeared in the movie a total of 11 times.
Adewale Alebiosu recounted how it happened just a few days before Christmas, a time when he had hoped to receive enough money for his role in the movie to provide for his family. However, the reality was far from his expectations.
After receiving the 3,000 naira payment, the actor shared that he boarded a bus with the money and cried intensely until he arrived home.
These revelations follow actress Jaiye Kuti’s criticism of senior Nollywood colleagues who seek help on social media.
