Indigenous Nollywood actress Funmi Awelewa popularly known as Morili has blacked out on social media as she mourns the death of veteran actor Quadri Oyebamiji Tolani popularly known as Sisi Quadri.
Funmi Awelewa, who is best known as Sisi Quadri’s on screen husband cleared all images on her social media page, Instagram to mourn her dearest.
The actress replaced her Instagram profile photo with a dark image while also leaving her page blank giving it a total dark picture.
Funmi Awelewa has yet to make official statement about her friend’s demise. The duo have always acted the hilarious but lovely couple in different local series.
On the evening of 1st of March 2024, news broke out on the internet about the death of Sisi Quadri. His death took a toll on the industry with many trooping out to speak about their relationship.
Accirdung to reports, Sisi Quadri died of kidney-related issues. The revelation was made known by blogger, Seun Oloketuyi via his Instagram page.
The actor’s untimely demise was announced by his colleague Tunde Olayusuf on Instagram and his other colleagues have followed suit with their condolences.
Veteran award winning actor Kunle Afolayan shared a photo of himself and Sisi Quadri on the set of Anikulapo, expressing shock over the actor’s death.
He revealed that he’s at a loss for words and he’s still trying to cope with Sisi Quadri’s death. He prayed that the vibrant actor rest in peace.
Also, actress Biodun Omoborty made her pain known through her Instagram post where she lamented Quadri’s death.
The mother of two revealed that she cannot post Sisi Quadri’s photo because she believed it to be a stunt. She wrote about how she celebrated their birthday just few months ago.
Speaking about Sisi Quadri’s death, Biodun Okeowo compared his demise to a sunset at noon.
